About Julie Teel

I consider myself an artist first . All my life I have been "studying"/practicing the huge rainbow of fine arts ... drawing , painting , printmaking ,sculpture , writing , photography ,& giftwrapping (there is an art to it , heehee). After highschool(I majored in art,as a matter of fact my senior year was all art classes&theater-which i did alot of the scenic,PR&costume/prop creating/designing ) I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC graduating w/a degree in Fashion Design .I didn't quite get into the fashion world because I started doing makeup/hair as a means to make money for FIT stuff&my pool habit soooooo ... NOW ... I am an award winning professional makeup artist working in the film , television & fashion industries , though tv work takes up most of my times these last few years . i adore fashion ! and am very glad that i get to attend Fashion Week twice a year . I have much time to get to create more traditional works or digital pieces , but I try my BEST at photography , getting fun/great fotos of my co-workers ..... it's a plus too that i am a mkp artist , i paint faces everyday ! how about yours ? !!!!!
