A rather pathetic effort at semi-realism, I'm not at all good at painting, though. Forgive all my horrible mistakes- I've never actually had lessons in painting or realism... and I'm 13. So there.

wow! i wouldn't call this a pathetic attempt at all. very nice job. 13 years old? that's talent. one suggestion i have is to define the bottom of the nose more. but since you're doing semirealism i guess that's alright.

I have a tiny bit of criticism, just that the hair looks a little unnatural for realism. That is it other than that is pretty darn good.

I absolutly dont think that you should apologize for yourself,.this is so beautiful and the fact that you haven't taken any lessons just makes it even better ;) I think you're really good, the shading of the face and everything! Keep on going!;)

the hair, expression and textures are very good. I also love the swrily clouds in the background. As I said, work on the nose. Also, maybe put more shadows under the hair. Good job.
