Dunedin, Florida in 1974. From a very early age, Karrie knew that her
talents centered on creative endeavors. When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up her response was a resounding “I want to be an
artist”. She gave birth to the style of WeeDot in 1991 while in art
school. Karrie has been inspired by world renowned artist such as Salvador
Dali, Wassily Kandinsky, Andy Warhol, Keith Herring and Georgia
O’Keefe. Seeing these artists’ work gave her the passion for color and a free spirited way of life. Karrie’s WeeDot paintings bring a sense of joy to all that see them with powerfully bright colors and a whimsical feeling that bursts from the canvas.
