Well, lets see...My name is Jes and live in UPSTATE NY. Yes, there is a whole, giant state above NYC. I'm still amazed by how many peope dont know that. I mean they must see it on the tv weather and on maps and they see that nyc is small and just a speck at the bottom of the state. That theres this whole, huge area above it. But somehow it doesnt sink in. Most of the state is farm land. And that is the part I live in. My lovely old house that I share with my bf, my Mom and her bf, is about 200 years old and surrounded by acres and acres of corn, hay, soybeans, and cows. Oh, theres a few other houses and some woods and swamps and even some paved roads, but mostly its farms, just farms. =========================================================== I love animals as does my family. We have loads. 18 cats, 5 dogs, a cockateil, a turtle and 3 chickens that all live in the house with us. Outside we have, er, I have a horse, 11 chickens, 2 sheep and anywhere from 5 to 35 cats. We feed who ever shows up. Theyre strays we try to help, so dont go preaching to me about spaying and neutering. Theyre wild animals who just happen to be cats and sort of friendly.
