...would it be complicated to have some kind of 'stop save' action, or just an automatic stop trying to save after a minute or so?

It's just that my connection is rubbish, and it's happened to me quite a few times that i've tried to save just as the connection fails me, so that i'm stuck with a saving screen that never goes away even when the connection's reestablished, and can't do anything but navigate away and lose my work.

i'm sure i'm not the only one who's experienced this, and i'm sure you can imagine how annoying it is, so would it be possible to implement some change here?
