The collab is looking really good now but there are still lots of people who have not updated their pictures for a while, and because of the mismatch of themes sadly the Big Collab is no longer visible from afar.
So, two questions: 1) How is the prodding coming along (I would help with this but sadly I am having a few - actually, lots of - PMing issues)? and 2) Does anyone have any siggestions how to make us more visible? |

It's good to see that we're still slowly moving along! I'll keep sending out pokes, but I'm not sure what the next move should be if there are still no responses. I think the best way of becoming more visible is just for the image to become more complete. A bright border helped to define the first big collab, but that takes a lot of people to complete.
It would be good to know how many people are still around, so make yourself known if you're still visiting the forums!

So many members who originally wanted to collaborate have not visited the OMM for months now. I find it hard to understand why they wanted to join in in the first place. The original images they did have not been changed once and, since Gracie left, they have not participated in any of the discussions on the forums either.
There are a few active members within the collab who have just done their own thing, either because they do not understand what they are supposed to do or do not like the image they are meant to participate in.
It all seems to have gone very wrong when it seemed like such a good idea in the beginning. Perhaps there is some way for those of us who are still interested to be moved together to create a smaller collab group. What do you think?

I was thinking the same thing, Auntie, It would be a shame to give up on the big picture but I think it's the only way to keep the collab going.
If everyone agrees, we can ask Paul to shift us all around again =D. Should we assume everyone who joined in with the Monet is still interested or start from scratch with the 6 of us who've posted here recently? |

I think perhaps the six of use (and anyone else who posts here soon) can perhaps be in the centre, and those who have recently updated but don't take part in the forums can be around the outside so they can take part of they are still active but if there silence on the forums is actually because they no longer visit the OMM, it won't matter much.
It is a shame to give up on the Big Collaboration but I think with a smaller number, as long as we all check regularly, it will be easier to keep things moving.
Alternatively, we could ask Paul if he would send a message straight to their normal email to let them know that things are still happening, but that may go againts provacy laws, I'm not really sure... |

Hi, I'm still here, been a bit busy lately but should be able to spend some more time on the OMM in the next few weeks. Would be good to get those who are interested in reacting quickly to any new picture suggestions moved to the core of the Big Collab and anyone else around the edges.
