I found this thread while searching for an explanation for a little yellow circle-guy suddenly appearing in my square!
At least now I understand that it is a natural phenomenon. But after seeing what happened to their original square, I'm worried: could the same happen to mine?

Errrr ... a space monkey seems to have somehow sneaked onto my drawing, a green one at that. He's kinda small, and looks kinda confused... I think he has a uni-brow... oh well, he can stay if he wants to. |

i gave in, and found a way to include a space monkey. it is a grape. it fits the kitchen food theme, and is a space monkey grape. there, i did it.
oh no! the space monkey grape had twins!

I gave in to the temptation..... It seems a fourth drop of water has caught up with the first three. A space monkey? No, of course not!

Well, it seems after weeks and weeks of careful avoidance, hand washing, and pest spray the space monkeys have managed to infest my square anyway
I finally got with the program ;P
Anyways, it seems to be one of the new species of camoflauge space monkeys like ones in David Gauer's and Kelly Thorne's square

This whole camoflauge issue is very worrying indeed. How will we ever keep track of the growing number of invaders? Thank goodness they are all (well mostly) very well behaved little critters!!!
The latest additons to the SM clan are awesome 
I'm going to a local Zoo tomorrow and i'm going to get inspiration for a whole new bunch of Space Animals as I have not added any for a while. Watch this space...

| What a shame the space monkeys didnt make it onto the OMM calender, probably because they would be too small to show up properly, it would be great to see some official OMM space monkey promotional merchandise in the future. |

Hey Laura, are you a Firefly fan at all? whenever I see the word space monkey I always think of it because of the episode "the train job".
