I need a name for my cat. I was calling it 'this cat' or 'that cat' but it gradually became 'my cat', a kind of virtual pet that I have now taken to playing with and decorating (see latest xmas addition  )
I don't have any real pets, and my imagination for names is limited by my geeky technophile brain, (CAT-5 was a recent nerdy idea I had  )
So any suggestions would be appreciated. Ta.

Hehe! I quite like CAT-5....our house is full of it. Although I'm computer illiterate, my husband is also a geeky technophile.
I always thought Shadow would be a good name for a black cat, but I guess something conected to the project would be good. Someone abriviated the one million masterpiece the other day to TOMM. That would make a good name....providing it's a boy! |

| My last cat was called "Suzy Creamcheese" (a fictional Frank Zappa vocalist), bad name for a cat but I always enjoyed listening to my father trying to call her in at the back door :-) |

My cat is named Gilligan. He's a cat my husband and I adopted off of Craigslist. It seems that he and his sister were found as kittens abandoned on a boat. His sister was named Mary Ann. |

| Hi I put on my bit about myself that I have a cat called Fatz but his full name (not given by us) is "Cardinal Fatso Mctabby". A very grand name for the fattest cat wot you ever did see. When he was given to us he weighed just over 2 stone!!!!! |

HE WAS VERY PRECIOUS WITH A HINT OF

Talking about funny names when calling - a colleague's:, mum's dog was called 'Taxi'.

| heh, my cat's name is bulldozer (the one who sleeps on my face in my deviantart gallery), he's kinda fat and lazy, but he's practically a veteran, after all, he HAS been shot as well as tagged, so he has the right to sleep all the time. |

Everyone loves cats.
I've just started reading 'The Tomcat Murr' by ETA Hoffmann. It is bizarre and brilliant. And Murr is also a cool name for a tomcat.
