I was wondering if everyone could see the background ok? I have a faint design of abstract lines in there...

And I was wondering if the candle looks realistic or cartoony? I would like it to look as realistic as possible, but with some surreal qualities. Any tips would be nice. Thanks.

Hi.

I can see the background but I wouldn't notice it if I weren't looking to closely. I think that's a cool thing though. I enjoy images where the entire com,position doesn't immediately emerge. The candle is looking good, but if you want it to be more realisitic looking, add heavier shadows. The flame on the candle is a light sorce, so it should be illuminating at least the tip of the candle.
