I personally am loving it! Especially that you can make more than one pic (it's a shame when people erase their amazing work smiley)
I also like the activity tab, bit big brothery but hey, it's cool! smiley
What do you think?

I like it! I haven't really had a chance to check out all the features yet, but it looks snazzy.

I am beginning to enjoy it. There is one person on here who has hacked onto someones image and drawn all over it. (check images for deletion) I red arrowed him and left a nasty comment. He deleted my comment but that just meant I could post again and minus him again...revenge is sweet!smiley

I can't find anywhere to "search" for an image though. Has anyone found a button for that yet?

Hacking and ruing peoples work is so spiteful!? They're just jealous, and yes, the voting system is good unless you get some other mean person who votes you down out of spite? But at least you can voice your concerns here, who is this hacker? Let's boycot them and vote them down! smiley
Yeah, a search thing would be so useful, maybe a keyword thing might be an idea?

We're looking into this hack attempt so thanks for bringing it to our attention. It hasn't been confirmed yet but it looks like the case.

By the way, the search feature has been taken off line and will be reinstated in upgrade v2.1 in a few weeks. The new search will include tag searches, which at the moment don't do anything.

Anyway I'm glad the overall response has been positive. One of my favourite bits is the quick neighbourhood snapshot on the profile pages

Thanks fot the reply Paul. I was trying to find my faves to green arrow them.
Funny... since I red arrowed said suspected hacker I have lost my one green arrow. I wonder who would have done that? smileysmileysmiley

hee hee. you and your shenanigans aunty M. I like the upgrade so far, I like that I can go to nearby neighbor pictures of people whom I am commenting on, I've seen so many more pictures that way.

I'm not sure I'm liking the red arrow feature... I was on the most popular board yesterday and suddenly I dropped to 0!? smiley
Has anyone else had this problem, it's very mean and demotivating! I always liked the friendliness and positivity that the community posted here but this is taking some of that away. what are the thoughts on this?

I think that there is a problem with the voting. Paul has mentioned that some votes are getting reset for some reason. i don't think too many people would give you a down vote. I'm in the same boat. I only have one or two votes today whilst yesterday I had about six, I think.

Yeah, not sure what happened there but it was definately a bug - i.e. there hasn't been a red arrow attack just yet! I should be fixed now but post a message here if you notice a big fall in your tally.

Ah ok thanks for clearing that up, and for that kind comment! smiley I would hope there wouldn't be a down vote!? I still don't see the point in minus voting though?

Also, is there a reason why the profile views stay at 0 even when people have clearly visited and left you comments? I assumed it would register how many people check it out, no?

Looks like another bug - well spotted.

The red arrow can be used to discourage images that the community doesn't feel appropriate. As a group if many people are clicking a red arrow an image will become less prominent throughout the site, kind of like a self regulation. We'll see how it pans out!

Oh, I see. So the voting tally has a bearing on how likely it is that an image is featured in other parts of the project. I suppose this is a democratic way to pick out images to represent the OMM. Sounds sensible to me.

ah! thank you for replying so promptly and looking into the profile viewing smiley

yeah i can see your point about the minus voting but there are so few really crude ones, most of these are absolutely amazing and I'm so impressed with how friendly and encouraging everyone is. You have attracted a very kind community nice work!

Next qn! (hehe) but one I think that others would be interested in too: When do you begin considering nominations for upgrades? smiley

Ooh! I like it! I just got the email and I'm so happy with all the changes!! It's great!

I do have a question though, on my brother's page, there is a link where he can go to donate (He's got a free account) and it shows him what sort of account he has. I can't find that on my page. I think doing six drawings would be great so I was looking for how to upgrade. I think I'm just missing it, but it's not where my brother's link is. Oh! He wants to donate too. I'm not sure when he will (Probably two-four weeks to save up his allowance) and I think my mom and dad will once they get over internet jitters.

Know of anything I can show 'em to convince them the money is going to charity? They aren't very trusting of internet sites, unfortunately. Even really cool ones!

Hi Allison,

You are already a Supporter so can create the six images now. You're account was automatically upgraded because of the large contribution you've made to the project.

There is a page that allows people to validate the project by clicking through to the official charity websites where they feature OMM. I thought it was millionmasterpiece.com/about-validate but the upgrade must have changed it so I'll need to double check and get back to you.

Oh! I see the little "S" there on the profile. *does a really happy dance* Thank you! I'm so happy... I just wish I could reach through the computer and give you a hug. I've actually just hugged my brother and he thinks I'm insane. smiley

Yeah, I remember that page too. I think once my mom reads that then everyone in my family will donate. Well... I can hope! I've been on them to donate for awhile...

back to my previous question, how is the community contribution actually measured? I feel I contribute a lot since I recently joined, but it's helpful to know the boundaries!! smiley
