Hey everyone! I plan on finishing my square this weekend, things have been a little busy around here...and lazy (hehe smiley) but I'll get to it! lol

And Beverly, I think that is a great idea. smiley

Hmm, I feel like adding something to mine but I don't know what. If anyone who 'lives in' my square has a request for a marker or anything else, please give me suggestions! smiley

Great idea Bev. smiley
Doubt if I will be adding a marker but you never know. If by any chance anybody comes from this Godforsaken place let me know and I will hoist the flag! smiley Perhaps someone has been adventurous enough to join an expedition or even flown over on their way to somewhere a lot warmer? Perhaps you know somebody who knows somebody who might have thought to go to Antarctica oneday.
Nice marker Emily. Who has England? I am South East...kind of...well virtually in the middle of the bottom just above Southhampton.

Well, it is doubtful anyone knows where Harpenden is, so just above London will be fine for me.
Anyone want me to put a marker in?

Thanks Magnus. Looks about right for me. smiley
I have not heard from anyone but have noticed that Dee Dee has revisited. With that in mind what do you think if I move myself to Anthony Armetta's position, Peno to Shanna's position and Nina to Jethro's position? This would give us a complete (but smaller) picture as long as Dee Dee changes hers. If Nina or Peno are reading this could you say if it is ok. Would save me a lot of hassle PMing everyone again and waiting for replies. I realise it would mean drawing another image but I can't think how else to do this. All the other people who showed an interest in being part of the collab have not replied to my messages so I have no one to fill the gaps unfortunately.

Can everyone nudge the inactive squares next to them and get them to at least answer that they are around. I know people are busy but I do wish they would respond to messages.

In response to this- I'm still here but life's pretty busy for me now, we're starting the process of opening our own small business. The SO and I are in the hobby busness and we run tournaments at a local gaming store every weekend/in the middle of the week so I don't usually have a lot of time for the internet. I'll try to be around more however! smiley

Hi everyone, I see it has been quiet for awhile on the Big Collab front. I hope everyone is well. I see that the atlas picture is not quite finished, do you think we should persevere with this one or have a go at putting up a new collab picture? Interested to hear everyone's views.

Hey, I check in from time to time, but I think the project has lost momentum. Does anyone think it's worth having another shuffle around of the people who are still interested? Personally, I don't want to have to keep poking people to keep things moving and it only works if everybody's committed. I also miss my teacup =)

Hi Jo, I agree with your comments (Lubos also sums it up accurately), I think we have rarely managed to complete a full picture and it always involves a lot of chasing. Maybe we should take a break for awhile so you can put the teacup back up as it seems a shame that it is a bit hidden at the moment. We can always come back and have a go at a new picture with those that are interested at a later date. There is nothing to stop us putting up individual pictures which have an overall theme e.g. summer, the sea, the countryside etc. It would be interesting to see different interpretations. It would also be good to still use this forum to discuss what we are all doing, what inspired individuals to do a particular picture and if there is an interesting story behind it and to keep in touch. Does anyone else have any thoughts?

Hi everyone =) I agree, and I like your idea of themes, Mark. smiley
Anyway, I am in on whatever we decide to do. Hope everyone is doing well!

Things have been a bit manic for me recently, so I completely stopped any type of chasing up or prodding here and there. But now I am perfectly willing to do whatever I can to move the picture along.
I think an overall theme would be nice, something perhaps to do with summer...
