Hope this one's better- it's the largest I could find online. If anyone can find a better quality image, please send it and we'll use it!

Shubnum, yours is two to the left of the house- it has two figures in it so should be a good one! There's quite a bit of sky, isn't there =S. I'm sure you'll make it interesting- add aeroplanes, spaceships, whatever you want =D
Would a grid showing everyone's position help?

Could everyone PM a square next to them that needs to change? That way we should be able to cover most squares. I have already PM'd Beverly and Nadia (And Magnus! smiley)so anyone else would be good!

Great idea to do another picture and although I am outside the current frame I'll tag something onto the edge. Unless we get the people who are active to switch squares with those that currently seem to be inactive we will still have some large holes in the the picture. Probably something that will need to be planned, I wouldn't want any current members to be excluded if they still want to take part but it would be good to have a central core of squares made up of the people who are more active and have time to change their squares quickly. Then have the people who seem to be busy and less active towards the outside of the picture. This way we would get a recognisible picture up fairly fast without any gaps which could then be expanded as people get the time. I think we would need to PM everyone to see if they still want to be involved, if they want to commit to change quickly and be near the middle or at a slower pace towards the edge. Does anyone have any thoughts? Cheers Mark smiley

Back!

I think a grid showing everyone's position would be a decent idea... I've no idea where I've gotten to smiley

I have an idea for a project once this one is finished. I know it's a bot early but knowing me I will forget unless I put is somewhere more permanent... So, I was looking at Andy Warhol's screen prints and I just though how cool it would be if everyone started out with a similer face Andy Warhol stye - perhaps a copy of one of his, Elvis perhaps - but then they could customise the face and picture with anything they like. The face appearing in every picture would bring them all together but people would have much more freedom with what they draw. It's not perfect because there isn't much continuation between pictures, so its less of a collaboration I guess. But it could be fun if we end up waiting after finishing this one smiley

It's growing slowly! I love what Emi has done with her square- hope it inspires everyone who got stuck with sky or grass =D. Emily's is looking brilliant so far too- can't wait to see the end result. All the different styles are looking great together- just keep prodding your neighbours to join in!

P.S. I've messaged Joel, Nadia, Angeli and Christina- Just so we don't all bombard the same person!

If I am in one of the white squares on the edge am I cut out of it or do I have to wait for them to draw until I know what to draw? Sorry if I am not on constantly but I seem to get it done pretty quickly with everyone else.

You can start whenever you like, Cassie! Just match it up as best you can to what will be in your neighbour's square and either they can draw theirs to fit, or you can alter it a little afterwards. Anything to get things moving along will be great! =)

Wow . . . have been busy. Apologies . . . see that things have changed with the collab.
Happy to be an edger as I am currently trying to career shift into something else. So seem to be half in one sector, half in another and concentrating all my spare time in the new one.
Once my neighbours are done and happy, I will follow suit.

Cheers! smiley

Hope everyone is well btw! smiley

How about while we wait for people to respond before we start switching squares, we all try to make our own squares more original? Already there are so many different styles being used, but it would be nice if we could make the painting more... personal, I guess. We already have some nice bright red balloons and I have now added some hot air balloons, but it would be nice if people who have quite simple squares of just sky etc. would be able to make them more interesting...
But everyone who has joined in so far looks great!
