I recently redid my square to incorporate the pattern of the square above me into my background. Conveniently, it was a dot pattern which allowed me to add in some space monkeys hehe.

Anyway, I think more of us should start joining in with squares around us and really get into the collaboriting spirit. It just makes things so much more fun. It's certainly given me some more pride in my square. smiley hehe.

That news blog about it was great! Maybe we could use this thread to sort of continue that blog and look out for more collaboration. So if you see any or have done some collaborating yourself. Post away! smiley

I agree Anna, I will change my square to be more collaborative in a bit. There is a collaboration attempt just below you by Beth Granter:

I think that collaboration is the best way. See if we can get images spanning loads of squares. Should be fab (it has noting to do with the fact that i have creative block...smiley)

I changed my square today to incorporate a little of all of the surrounding squares. It does look cool when some of the bounaries blur. I'm lucky that I have a friendly neighbour and he has incorporated a little of my picture in his square and we now have a 3D effect going on. smiley

I'd love to try to get on the collaborating ball but all around me I've got black squares and one square that is in progress as proclaimed by the artist, so I don't have much to work with. smiley so i did the next best thing and made a black border around my square, so i do blend in a bit..

I haven't started yet; I thought I'd just start futzing about and see what came out before putting too much effort into collab'ing. Besides, all but one of my neighbors is inactive. =(

That one is really well done! It's the sort of thing I thought of doing when I first joined, but the squares around me are either black or white.

Lot's of work has gone into this collaboration. Looks like Rob's farmer has provided some divine inspiration for Anne's angel smiley

This one took real dedication from the person below. Several times i wanted to jsut erase it and draw my own image, and i can't wonder what kind of restraint was necissary to draw an image that alone is vaguely abstract and be fully content with it.

My first drawing was a colaboration of my neighbors... but then I wanted to do something on my own. I still love that whole colaboration bit.

Wow, some of those are really amazing! I'd love to get involved with my neighbors but I already filled up so much of my square. Maybe I can can change some of the bg to match :/ The collaborations done well really add so much to the picture smiley

Any suggestions of how to join up? I have all black squares one side a black background underneath a white background to the side and no response from any that are filled in. At a bit of a loss what to do.

Maybe incorporate some of the bamboo from the panda pic on your bottom left. And maybe make your grass that same color green c: And if you were willing to sacrifice some of your pic you could add to the magenta text below you, like (Your) Love Hurt Me or (Can) Love Hurt Me or whatever you want to add to the message C: I'd probably ask if its okay on that one tho :3
