I know for a fact that this one, however, is a prank. The name of the artist, "Belair Belair" is from a meme of www.img.4chan.org/b/, which actually has been raiding images of the site with a a picture of "Cell" from Dragon Ball Z firing a laz0r from his mouth, or as they say, Shooping his Whoop.

This one should be deleted for sure though, it's nasty and has no placing in OMM. More innocent ones like the Cell pictures are fine in my book though, I mean humour without any bad consequences is just another form of artistic expression. I'll keep my eyes out for more offensive material such as this though.

I'm not sure if you are talking about two different images or the same image 388030. Could you please clarify?

The URL I posted I believe should be deleted. The other one I was referring too is okay.

ok well these piss takes are definately annoying. silly and uncalled for i reckon.. i do wonder though.. with this debate of the nazi symbol..

has anyone ever mistaken a buddist swastika as a nazi sign? i mean it is difficult to tell apart coz it is definately confusing with whatever clockwise or anticlockwise position it is placed in.

Of course, swastika isn't just a nazi symbol. But, you know, when Hitler is mentioned there, that surely isn't buddist swastika this time.

But, anyway, with all the hate that I have for what Hitler (or Stalin or any crazy evil person) did at some point in history, I still don't really find this picture offensive. It is silly and stupid in my opinion, yes, but is this a reason for deletation? You may think that person who did this is a nazi and evil and crazy (I think that he is probably just some kid), but it is sill not a reason for deletation.
Does this piece offend anyone?

I posted my reaction to such an image in an earlier thread

In an earlier thread a nazi swastika was nominated for deletion. I had written a knee-jerk reply in reaction to the image and had almost hit the 'post' button when I re-read my message. I found that my rant about the promotion of bigotry and nazi-ism had led me down a path into advocating censorship. I then found my own message just as offensive as the image in question and decided not to post it. I thought about why it had caused offence; it was because I had reacted more to the idea of the artist being a nazi than to the image/symbol itself, when I really knew nothing of the artist or his/her motives at all.
I concluded that I was glad to have been offended by the swastika as it is as much of a reminder of our worlds history, and learned lessons, as Remembrance Sunday (which was about the same time, I think), and that it probably does more to reinforce anti-nazi feelings in people than it does to promote nazi-ism.

The point is that whoever posted the image is not trying to show their point of view, they are trying to corrupt the project, trying to "pwn" it, in internet slang. It's not even the actual way they think, they just post it to get a rise out of us.

Well, they definitely succeeded in doing so, because this topic has been created.
Real pwnage! smiley

Question is, does this count as a legal submission for the world record?
If it does, then I can only see this as, well, a kind of contribution into the project...
