Just three ideas I had earlier today that may or may not be any good, just suggestions:
Firstly, it would be nice to see more categories on the leaderboard, the current two categories are the most important ones, but it would be interesting to see who the most active people on the forums are, which pieces get the most views, who gives the most comments and so on.
Some kind of 'featured piece' whereby you could have a daily or weekly piece or pieces chosen by either the admin or by poll, to showcase particularly good examples on the front page, especially pieces which have recieved less attention.
The third idea was that I find the tools here a really nice fun set, would they possibly be available outside of this site with some kind of save to hard drive function just for playing around with or so on, I've seen around that people want to try new stuff, but want to be able to keep both images.
I've no idea on how practical any of these are, they just occured to me, so though I may as well say them: thoughts?

OK - may as well add this ontop of my existing ideas for continuity purposes.
Prehaps a section where artists who have been particularly rated on here could offer short tutorials and tips to help aspiring artists. It would be entirely voluntary, but would be an interesting place for people to learn new things.
Again it might be a rubbish idea, just something that came into my head. |

I like the idea of a tutorial page. The playback feature would really be useful for that and there is so much I want to learn from everyone on here. And the 'featured piece' would be excellent! I see such great pieces while wandering around that don't have /any/ comments and they really diserve some! I'm actually trying to keep a list of all my favorite images.
And being able to dload the tools... fun!! I'd love to see that  Great ideas! |
