Why I drew an electric violin.

Im a clasically trained violinist, but decided to take an alternative route, and swapped to the electric violin.

I found I could literally make it sound like any instrument I wanted with my effects board, and found it so versatile and original, it also looks so cool.

Some people aren't in favour of the electric violin, but to my mind it makes the instrument more accessible to the younger kids who are looking to get into music, and provides a real alternative to the common place guitar!

awsome! i am a violinist myself, though, i am still learning, and in high school. my parents made a deal with me that if i practiced my regular violin 2 hours a day for the 60 remaining days of summer, they would get me an electric violin, needless to say i am very very excited! (i know you don't really care, but its so rare to find an electric violinist)
