ActionAid

Every single day 30,000 children die of preventable diseases; 800 million people go hungry and a billion people live on less than $1 a day. ActionAid is fighting for a world without poverty, in which every person can exercise their right to a life of dignity. Working in 42 countries worldwide, we listen to, learn from and work in partnership with over ten million of the world's poorest people.

Access to safe, clean water, education, shelter and health care are priorities, alongside tackling the injustice and inequality that condemns generations to a life of poverty. ActionAid supports people as they gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to take control of their own lives, building a better future for themselves and their children.

Your donations can make a world of difference:

£3.50 could buy enough nutritious porridge to feed eight children in Malawi for a month.
£35.00 could buy ten children school learning kits including books, pens, pencils and a small bag in Somaliland.
£350.00 could buy enough medicine and nutritional supplements to keep 35 HIV/Aids orphans healthy for a year in Rwanda.
